The DS16 Displacement Sensor system is a high performance analog displacement sensor. It was specifically developed to high speed, high-resolution servo applications. Its unique architecture permits itself to be easily adaptable to both linear and non-linear motions such as rotary motion. Additionally, the response of the sensor can be programmed to be linear or, non-linear. Typical linearity performance plots of the standard 30 and 50 millimeter scales are available here.
The DS16 sensor has an analog output. It can be easily connected to the A2SD16 Analog to Serial Digital converter for interfacing to various motion control systems.
