The TRS series, and the TRS-PS series with an integral position sensor (PS), have been designed and developed for high speed applications in inspection, TV compatible imaging and similar applications requiring extremely high speed. Their highly repeatable sinusoidal scan ensures the accurate placement of pixels in the scan direction, while the low cross-axis wobble ensures the accurate placement of pixels in the cross-scan direction.
The TRS scanners use a torsion bar design to achieve high frequencies and a moving magnet motor to achieve low drive power.
The TRS features a large mirror up to 20 mm diameter, low cross-axis wobble and jitter and a range of frequencies and scan angles.
The scanner can be supplied with a glass, Beryllium or replicated aluminum mirror depending on the application. The large size mirror translates into a small spot size for high resolution applications and higher performance collection optics for imaging applications.
The TRS-PS has been developed to provide accurate dot position information thereby eliminating the need for additional electro-optic hardware for generating timing signals.
